Freelance Trip: Iraq

The Road to Iraq. Southern Turkey.

Sign of hope? Last winter orange on the tree.

Climb, climb.. and you may reach your liberty.. at its end.

An Iraqi home.. So perfectly peaceful.
Now who would know about the bloody war that's going on behind these walls?

A bottle of gas. People offer their lifetime for this,
queueing from sunrise to sunset (literally).
So, this "liberation" included the Iraqi oil resources too, huh?

The other side of the walls.
A destroyed, trashed, and most importantly, "liberated" country!

My neighbour's naughty cat

I found my neighbour's cat in the garden today, and so I decided to capture few photos of Fred. Only Fred decided to be a little bit naughty, a little bit cheeky, and totally not sit still (well, she is a cat after all) :) Anyhow, I did capture few photos of her (yes it IS a her), enjoy ;)

Mens vinden gjør sine piruetter
I skyggen av solens stråle
Løper barnet over havet
Stuper mot en fjern galakse
Lengter bort fra askenetter
Til et sted med stjernedryss
Til de rom med lyse kroker
Ut en port med hvite blomster
Til en bekk med røde tårer
Faller sakte ned mot jorden
Svever inn i kantet kasse
Blomster drysses over fjeset
Blekt og uten tegn til skyld
